Stupidity of Indian Cinema

I have always seen these weird occurrences in Indian movies (mostly south Indian).
  • A US return is always shown taking the escalator down in the airport and is ALWAYS wearing shades.
  • A business man always wears a suit, even in a village.
  • A guy who hardly has any money, is seen wearing all the designer brands.
  • If a character promises (on somebody) something, and he fails to do it. The law is that the other person dies.
  • A fortune teller's prediction is always right.
  • Directors try to convince the viewers that the location is in India, by putting Indian license plates on foreign vehicles.
  • This has gone to the next level where they try to convince, Dubai is actually US or Australia since they don't have enough money.
  • A hit movie in English is remade into one of the Indian languages. If that's a success it is remade (sometimes twice) into all the 100 Indian languages available.
  • In every Hindi movie, Amitabh Bachan is one of the stars. If not physically present, his voice will be.
  • In a three hour South Indian movie, one hour is spent on slow motion shots of the hero.
  • The villain's convoy would even make the Prime Minister envious.
  • If the lead actress is in love with another guy apart from the hero, then that guy will be shown as a moron so that she can fall in love with the hero now.
