Wanna be a Celebrity?

No one would say no if they had a choice of being a celebrity. I mean, why would they? In this tough times of recession, all they would cut down is their weight. Which means they will buy a personal trainer and a truck load of gym equipment. In fact some smart celebrities thought recession had to do something with recess breaks in schools.

They don't have to think about anything financially. Exotic cars, private jets, etc are all a part of daily life. There would be no privacy for sure. You'll have to check your house once in a while for spy cameras. Nor would you have your own life. By attaining a Celebrity status, they donate their private life to public. So that we can admire, get jealous and pull their leg every time possible .

Recently Freida Punto donated her private life. As soon as that happened we came to know she told her long time boy friend to buzz off. The boy friend is all upset because he might have thought to get a free ride, like Kevin did with Britney Spears. In other words his Corolla won't be replaced by a Ferrari anytime soon. Now the media says he is very upset and had helped her all the way. And lately that both of them are married. Sorry Mr Boyfriend, but such is life. You get hit hard. Just when you get up, you get hit again. 

Last week there was this huge uproar when Rihanna showed up at a hospital with a bruised of face. No, it wasn't a Monkey. Well close, it was Chris brown. He had assaulted her. I think he was drunk, which is why he surrendered to the cops. Rihanna still says she loves him. You see, with all the fame and money, people get messed up in their heads. I mean, really really messed up. If there is a weird news, it has to involve a celebrity or a Russian or Bush. 

All the young celebrities are destined to doom. For example, all the young celebrities. Besides, whats Obama's wife doing on the cover of Vogue? It should have been Time magazine or something sensible, not like Vogue or Cosmo. Looks like she's attending photo shoots while Obama is begging everyone to sign the stimulus package.

How the media uses these news to promote themselves is a joke by itself. One FM radio decided to stop airing Chris's songs because of the incident. Its obvious they did not do it for goodwill. I am sure the volume of listeners spiked up for that day. What did the listeners want? To check if they are really not playing them?

There's no point blaming the Media for telling us all the crappy news. They are doing it because we keep clicking only those links and, not on sensible topics like "Why should you avoid a Corolla?". What I would really like to say to the Celebrities is..... Actually, I don't care.
